Synopsis[]

When Randolph Cutler is on the verge of a major business deal with Walter's store, Walter uses his secretary to make sure he agrees to the deal.

Storyline[]

Walter has a chance to sell his store for a huge profit. Maude is pleased until she finds out that Walter has arranged a date between one of his employees and Randolph Cutler, the married buyer (Robert Mandan). When Walter notices Cutler getting cozy with his secretary, he invites her to dinner to be sure Cutler agrees to the deal. However, Maude becomes furious over Walter's pandering business ethics and becomes even more furious when his secretary cancels and he throws Carol at Cutler.
