Thanksgiving Reunion: Part 1 was the 10th episode of Season 1 of the Archie Bunker's Place TV series and also the 10th overall episode in the series. It was also the first episode of a two-part story. Directed by Paul Bogart, the episode, which was written by series creators Patt Shea and Harriet Weiss, originally aired on CBS-TV on November 18, 1979.

Synopsis[]
Part one of two-part story. Mike and Gloria Stivic, and little Joey, come home to spend Thanksgiving with the Bunkers. (Originally aired as a 1-hour special)
Storyline[]
Mike and Gloria (don't forget little Joey) come back to New York to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Bunkers. But Mike's got some devastating secrets to hide: He's been fired from his professor's job in Santa Barbara for participating in a nude protest of a nuclear power plant. This has put a further strain on the Stivics' already faltering marriage.
