Robert L. Goodwin (born April 30, 1927 – February 13, 1983) was an American television director, producer, actor, and screenwriter. he co-wrote the episodes of All in the Family, the Season 4 episode "Pay The Twenty Dollars".

Goodwin wrote episodes for such popular TV series as Bonanza, Julia, Love, American Style, The Big Valley, with the AITF episode "Pay The Twenty Dollars" being his last writing work.
