About Marabel
When Marabel, who's an airline stewardess friend and date of a married Wally (played by Harvey Lembeck), a fellow post brother and buddy of Archie and the guys, reluctantly goes along with Pinky Peterson's practical joke on Archie, who's had one too many drinks after their American Legion post brothers were having drinks in his hotel room while at a convention.
Anyway, when Pinky has her sneak into his hotel bedroom and bed and act as if she was sleeping with him, in hopes Archie would get the shock of his life waking up to see a black woman (albeit a rather young and very attractive one) in bed with him, Marabel confesses that Pinky put her up to it, as Archie turns the tables on Pinky, in having Marabel come out of his bedroom and tell Pinky and the guys that he had died after taking one look at her "clutching his heart", and then having a heart attack!
