Lynette Mettey (born April 4, 1943) appeared as the secretary of Lyle Bennett, the local TV station manager who reluctantly allows Archie to voice his off-the-wall views on gun control on his station's 6pm news telecast in the Season 3 opener episode of All in the Family titled "Archie and the Editorial".


Lynette appeared frequently as a nurse on the CBS television series M*A*S*H and played Quincy's girlfriend, Lee Potter, on the television show Quincy, M.E..[1] She appeared in dozens of television commercials in the 1970s and 1980s, and she has lent her highly recognizable voice to hundreds of radio commercials. Lynette appeared in various nurse roles in six episodes of the CBS-TV series M*A*S*H, first appearing as Lieutenant Nancy Griffin in "Sometimes You Hear the Bullet", and then last appearing as Nurse Able in "Some 38th Parallels" in Season 4 of the series.

Lynette's other roles include parts in Heat of Anger (1972),[2] and Hawaii Five-O.[3]
