Synopsis[]

Lionel and George get into a huge late-night fight over Jenny and her mixed-race parents, prompting Lionel to spend the night at the Bunkers. Louise pressures her stubborn husband to apologize and finds an unexpected ally in Archie but only because he wants Lionel out of his hair.

Summary[]

Lionel moves out of the Jefferson household after an argument with his parents. Normally, this domestic squabble would be of no concern to Archie Bunker, who would just as soon have all the Jeffersons move away but Archie hadn't reckoned with Edith, who not only allows Lionel to move in with the Bunkers but extends him every conceivable courtesy of the house.

Trivia/Notes[]

This is the first time the term "zebra" would be used to describe Jenny Willis and her family. The term would be used all through "The Jeffersons".
