Synopsis[]
An artist friend of the Stivics wants to paint a portrait of Gloria in her birthday suit, prompting a debate over the morality of nude art.
Plot summary[]
Mike's let-it-all-hang-out liberalism is again put to the test when Gloria agrees to pose in the nude for the Stivics' artist friend Szabo Daborba (played by David Soul, who would later star on the ABC-TV hit crime drama/action series Starsky and Hutch). Naturally, Archie is outraged that Gloria would be willing to appear nude in the altogether in front of a stranger but Mike appears to be taking his wife's artistic expression in stride. When Szabo suggests that Gloria pose for him, it sparks an angry debate between Archie and Mike over the morality of art and decency but it also allows Archie to plant some doubt in Mike's mind over whether Szabo will take advantage of Gloria. Before long, however, those all-important "second thoughts" begin to gnaw away at Mike's psyche.
