Bill Davenport (born August 11, 1925 - died May 13, 1989) was an American writer. He wrote for many television sitcoms including Mister Ed, Gilligan's Island, Hogan's Heroes, and I Dream of Jeannie.

He wrote thirteen episodes of All in the Family, four episodes of Good Times, one episode of The Jeffersons, and fifteen episodes of Maude.

Death

Davenport died at age 63 in Los Angeles.
