Synopsis[]
Mike and Gloria take a vacation, leaving Archie and Edith by themselves and revealing the often uneasy marital relationship between Archie and Edith.
Plot summary[]
With Mike and Gloria away for the weekend, Archie and Edith find themselves alone together for the first time in months. They also find themselves at war, thanks to an insensitive remark for which Archie refuses to apologize. Can this be the end of the Bunker marriage, or will Edith be able to make Archie say "I'm sorry" in spite of himself?
